Same here. On the one hand, the guy's the same age as me and I know when I was a bit younger I did some stupid shit with a far smaller sum of money, so it's hard for me to blame him too much. On the other hand, it's kind of hard to stifle a reflexive negative reaction towards somebody for whom 99% of the things you value would be essentially worthless. And I try damn hard to be understanding of other people and to avoid being materialistic.

D-bag was what came to mind, but I think if I'm honest with myself maybe I'm a bit jealous. he is just playing the hand he was delt. I was young and dumb too, and if I had a third of his money, I'd be a d-bag.
